Parade Against Domestic Violence

Children’s Parade

In Ecuador you never know what to expect. Bill and I were walking into town and suddenly came upon a school parade. Each school or class not sure which were dressed in different uniforms. The children were escorted by  police officers dressed up in white jackets and looked so handsome. Each child was holding balloons and were having so much fun. They would shout “good morning” or “hello” and were so proud to be speaking English to American’s. The teachers  are spending time teaching the children English. I later found out that this parade was against domestic violence. So I guess this is a problem world wide.
