Yikes!!!! 7th Decade Arrival

This was absolutely the best birthday ever and by the way, how is it possible that I am in my 7th decade? My glorious morning started off with a walk to town. Oh my, what a beautiful view as I left our house. Mama Cotacachi Volcano even has a snow cap which as the story goes means that Papa Imbabura Volcano paid a congenital visit during the night. 
Freddy my favorite taxi driver shouted to me Feliz Cumpleaños (Happy Birthday) Anita. By the way, Anita is my Ecuadorian name since the locals have trouble saying Ann. He offers me a free ride into town. I had to decline because walking a mile into town is part of my exercise routine. Once I arrived in town Santiago owner of Incanto rolled down his window from his little red car and greeted me with Feliz Cumpleaños. As I continue my walk I am continually greeted with Happy Birthday wishes. Humm, there are no secrets in little Cotacachi especially when Billy Boy creates a love letter video on Facebook! Later that evening Bill took me to La Mirage my favorite place for a luxury evening. La Mirage is one of the reasons we decided to buy our home which is only 300 steps to luxury. Upon arrival, the staff greets us at the door with my favorite margarita’s while singing Happy Birthday in English. Dinner was wonderful and the La Mirage folks present me with a cake and sing Happy Birthday once more. So many folks both Ecuadorian and Expats made this a special birthday that I will never forget.
This girl is on fire and celebrating 70th Birthday in “Mayberry of the Andes”.
